As a soprano I am hired for many events, including concerts, recitals, corporate events and recording days. I have also worked with a number of composers performing and recording new works. I have experience working in a number of styles and genres including Early Music, Oratorio, Choral/Chamber Music, Opera, Musical Theatre, Contemporary Commercial Music, and Folk. I work regularly with other artists, for duets, trios and consort work as well as connections to Early Music ensembles and accompanists.

I have been a singing tutor and instrumental tutor for 15 years, teaching students from beginners to advanced singers. I teach multiple singing styles to students from many different walks of life and all ages, ensuring that lessons are catered to each individual student.

A number of my students have completed graded examinations, from initial/prep test to diplomas and across numerous exam boards including ABRSM, Trinity and LCM with some going on to study music in Music Institutions across the country and abroad. As a teacher and choir leader I have entered many students into festivals and competitions around the North of England with students winning trophies and certificates as well as ensuring that students get chances to perform and grow. A yearly concert is held so that all students get the chance to perform for their families and friends.

I am also regularly hired by music schools and institutions to run performance and technique masterclasses classes for professional voice users as well as students seeking a career in singing.

Weddings are such a special occasion and music is often at the forefront for couples wishing to make their day perfect from start to finish. For over 15 years I have performed in numerous weddings around the UK and overseas performing classical and popular repertoire. I work with the couple to cater the music to what they want and I perform in both religious and civil ceremonies. Planning a funeral for a loved one is always difficult. A beautiful song can add a personal touch to help the service celebrate the life of someone you love.

I provide a telephone consultation to discuss with you what music you would like, if it is a religious funeral I will also lead any hymns. I have sung in many funeral ceremony both religious and secular and work with many local accompanists and organists if one is required.
